Afghanistan, Kabul, March 22, 2015
A burqa-clad woman walks over a graveyard one day after the main New Year celebrations took place. Usually one of the busiest gatherings for Persian New Year is here around the Sakhi Shrine, in the Kart-e Sakhi area which is a predominantly ethnic Hazara, a Shia, neighborhood. Kabul's population has grown enormously in the last decade and in this area there is no open space left besides the huge graveyard where the celebrations take place, and families come to picnic or play games.
